Sleeper in Canada

BillsVJetsIt’s Thursday after thanksgiving and football fans are coming off an amazing week in the NFL. Both undefeated teams advanced another week without a loss in dramatic fashion. The Colts came back against a division rival from a huge deficit to win (and cover the points spread) and the Saints owned a Patriot team that remains the media’s litmus test for someone to “make it” in the league. Several games were down to the wire with the Ravens, Titans, and Eagles winning by just 3 points at the end.

This week’s Thursday night game would have been much more interesting in week 3 but in week 13 it is kind of a sleeper. The Jets and Bills both won last week against pretty good teams but it is too little, too late. Neither team has the offense to make this game exciting and coming off the short week makes it more likely that viewers will be counting field goals rather than touchdowns. Even so, a AFC East game in the cold December climate is how football should be played. Let’s hope these teams capture the moment and make it fun to watch.

Our Picks:

Chad takes the Bills +3 at home

Ian takes the Bills +3 at home

Kristian takes the Jets -3 at Buffalo (well, actually Toronto)
