This Thursday is one of those games on the schedule that probably looked great at the beginning of the year. The Dolphins won the AFC East last year and had most of their roster returning. The Panthers were 12-4 last season before their early exit during the playoffs. However, fast forward to a year later and both teams are on the cusp of a failed season.
Nothing that I have seen makes me confident that either team has a legitimate run in them. They are both struggling to be the team that was successful last year with a tired approach and scheme. Unless miracles happen for Carolina or Miami, the winner is only prolonging the inevitable; an off-season beginning directly after week 17.
This could be a good game but not because either team is interesting. Rather because they are equally uninteresting. This a game that you only pay attention to if you are betting or posting expert picks. So without further delay, the Thursday game of this week and our expert picks.
