A quick look at who hasn’t lost after week three of the season and whether it really means that much or not as we head in to the first bye week. We have clarification that indeed the NFC West is full of team’s that couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag, the only division in the NFL, where no team is undefeated. Lets start with a look at the American Football Conference, the team’s topping the four divisions are:
Rookie QB Mark Sanchez has been leading the offense productively and Rex Ryan has done a great job so far this year. He says he isn’t as good as Bill Belichick and who am I to disagree. Will the Jets win the Super Bowl, I doubt it. Will they make the playoffs, quite possibly.
The Ravens look impressive so far, the only AFC team with over one hundred points scored, Joe Flacco is avoiding the sophomore slump and the defence is still awesome, case in point Ray Lewis and the game saving stop of Darren Sproles against the Chargers in week two. I like them for the Super Bowl.

The Colts were much improved against Arizona, a week after they needed Peyton Manning to drag them through to victory in the final minutes of a comeback in Miami. Favorite Manning target Anthony Gonzalez is out injured with a bad knee, but it is a sign of a quality team, that they can win, when they aren’t playing well.
Are the Broncos the real deal? No. That is the simple answer. They are going to come up against much tougher opposition than the Browns and Oakland and they were lucky to play Cincinnati before they started to heat up. Next week they play the Dallas Cowboys, then the Patriots, followed by a trip to AFC West rivals San Diego. Their record could easily be 3-3 by then.
Another article later in the week looking at the NFC, where we won’t be mentioning the NFC West…
